Today's word is abscond.
Abscond means to sneak away in a hurry, often while hiding something.
So I picture, your parent has made a plate of cookies for a bake sale and you're not supposed to eat any of these cookies cause they're gonna be sold for $1 each to raise money for your school.
But you sneak into the kitchen and you abscond with a cookie.
You sneak away with it in a hurry.
Abscond.
