Today's word is chicanery.
Chicanery is the use of deceit or trickery to get something.
Usually political, financial, or legal.
For example, if you get an email from someone you have never heard from before, who claims to be some kind of prince and asks you to wire them a ton of money, that's chicanery.
Or, if you hear about a business opportunity that is too good to be true, and is actually a pyramid scheme, that is also chicanery.
Or finally, literally everything about Fyre Festival.
Chicanery!
