He's the founder and editor-at-large of "DealBook" at The New York Times and co-host of CNBC's "Squawk Box." I wanted to talk to him about the economic roller coaster we're navigating today.

Whether it's the S&P or crypto, it seems like the markets are a mess.

Andrew Ross Sorkin, welcome to "Sway." Hey, Kara, thanks for having me.

OK, I want to start with the stock market, obviously, something you cover all the time, covered for many years.

This month, the S&P has had its worst week since March 2020. How long do you think it's going to be in free fall?

Everyone's debating whether it's a recession or not.

So start with the stock market, because many people have a lot of their wealth in it.

Well, predicting the stock market, of course, is always a fool's errand.
